About Escondido Republican Women, Federated
Chartered in September of 1961, Escondido Republican Women, Federated (ERWF) meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (except July and August) in Escondido. We are active in our community by participating in local parades, street fairs, festivals and helping multiple outreach organizations.
We are proud members of the California Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women.
ERWF received the NFRW Caring for America Award for our nationwide program known as Operation for Apron. We have received awards for our work in voter registration, membership, literacy, Caring for America, community hours, and political hours! We are a NFRW Diamond Award. Our goals include empowering women from all backgrounds in the political process and provide a forum for women to serve as leaders in the Republican Party, government, and civic arenas. We educate our members in promoting the principles of the Republican Party, registering voters, circulating petitions, writing letters, increasing membership, and providing interesting and educational speakers at our monthly meetings.
The objectives of ERWF in conjunction with the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) an the California Federation of Republican Women (CFRW) are as follows:
-
To encourage active citizenship and promote and informed public through political education and activity
-
To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to its principles and candidates in all elections, including non-partisan elections;
-
To cooperate with the Republican Party's State and County Central Committees for the election of Republican candidates; and
-
To participate in at least one community project each year.
